Before you is an amazing landscape of cottonwood riparian areas, hillside escarpments, wetlands, and native grasslands. Often windy, this view contains protected archaeological sites, native flowering plants and grasses, and a variety of trails (hills, flats, and river).

Many species of plants and wildlife, young and old soils, and varying topography and aspects. Nature loves variety and there are many landscapes and trails to discover, learn about nature and enjoy!

C. Native Grasslands Galore!

Mother Nature abhors a vacuum and will fill the empty spaces with “Prairie Wool”. A mixture of native grasses, flowering plants (forbs), and low growing shrubs.
